This place was a total scam. I called today (3/2) , (2/16) and I believe a time before in January. Every time they told me different things about my account . I made my payment in full so I can use the account but received information that it was closed. Such funny timing , right ? So I called and the first representative told me they closed in January and the manager said it was closed in February. So as much as I’m glad I have a zero balance with them , it’s just awfully funny that they closed my account once I paid it. I would avoid at all cost.

I am looking at the information contained on this page regarding the milestone credit card, and it says annual fee of $35,$59 or $75 dollars. First off I never applied for this card, that's why I could not put an income as i never applied for this card. When I started to investigate this account on my credit report. I found the information below. When I called they told me it was the annual fee of $175 plus interest that is resulting in a balance on the account. I said I never received a card, statement, or requested this card. The rep told me they have no way to verify if I applied for it or not. But would have to put a ID theft flag on my credit profile to have it removed. Or I have to let them close it and have it show as "account closed at request of consumer". They cant remove the account, or they wont remove the account, unless I file an identity theft report. Which in this case they are the ID thieves that opened the account. Now they tell me that they are not the ones who process the application. And telling me that they cant close it. This company is opening accounts up for people without their consent, in the hopes that they will keep the card and pay their insane annual fee that does not match what is on their website.

I was charged a late fee for a payment that I set up on the website. I set up the payment for the 12th to be withdrawn from my bank automatically. Convenient right? No. The system did not take my payment until the 14th. Due date was the 13th. Convenient for them to charge me a late fee. When I called to get the late charge reversed they said sorry. This is very frustrating. Im gonba pay off my balance and shred this card and close my account. Thus is bad business.

This is the worst credit card ever. There is no minimum payment. Your monthly payment is your balance. If you are late, it's $40. If you don't use your card, it's 10.40 a month plus a $40 late fee, not to mention the yearly fee. So,by not using my card for almost a year cost me $138 in the last 6 months and cost $89 6 months ago again, to not use my card. I would not advise getting this card. Find something else, otherwise you'll be paying for it to sit in your wallet.

I am currently working on rebuilding many credit after a divorce and the pandemic. I took this card as way to do so. However, I would not recommend this card. They take 14 days to process a payment and issue credit. That is way too long. I normally pay off my card every 2 weeks. I haven’t missed a payment. They say they have no way to verify the payment has posted and to expedite the process. Do not get this card if you want to actually use it.

I got approved with a $75 annual fee. The starting limit was $300. My feedback is quite similar to others here. The credit limit will not increase. They do not have an app and their website is not the most snazzy.
Having said that, this card does serves it's purpose. I got this card after already being approved for the Opensky Secured card. After I got approved, I saw my score bump up by about 30 points. After using this card (with the Opensky) for about a year or so, my scores have increased to over 600.

My credit was not in the best of shape before Covid 19 and since the pandemic hit, I was fortunate to be considered an essential worker and had a job. My income was ok as well. I decided to really work on my credit and decided to get an unsecured credit card. I got rejected by Credit One and even First Premier. After getting pre-approved, I pulled the trigger and got approved. My annual fee was $75.
My score jumped 25 points after I got approved and they do report after the first statement. They also do bill you the annual fee on your first statement. Like others have said here, there is no phone app and the website is dated. But after using this for a few months, my score has improved and it is now about 630. I do charge about $58 a month (my hulu bill) and pay it off every month.

I got of bankruptcy during May, at the height of Covid 19 and I lost my job. I took unemployment for a while but managed to get a job in July. My score coming out of BK was 560. I decided to go straight for an unsecured credit card rather than a secured card and decided on Milestone.
I tried the pre-approval and did get pre-approved indeed. Then I decided to pull the trigger and got approved. My annual fee was $35. They billed me that amount during the first billing statement. So far this card has been ok. Like almost everyone here has said, their website is dated and they have no app. But they still approved me after BK and only a short "recent income" history. So I am grateful.

Do not get this card. Not sure if other folks experience this but for me, they put a 14 day hold after I paid my bills. I checked the terms and conditions and they do say they might put a hold on your payment for up to 14 days. That means you have to wait two weeks for your payment to clear until your credit limit is restored. I now only charge a very small amount every month to the card. None of my other cards have such issues.

This is actually a decent card for those of us with challenging scores. Yes, the limit is low and does not increase. But it is better than First premier, total, first access and reflex. These other cards charge an application fee, annual fee and monthly fee. With Milestone, you only have to pay an annual fee.

This was my second rebuilder after getting a fingerhut account. I was approved for both of these cards despite being denied by credit one, capital one and even first premier. I had an ok experience with this card. There were a couple of things that bugged me but they were not deal killers. The first is that I did experience payment holds for 7 days. Their website is truly old fashion and outdated. They also do not increase your credit limit. But you are getting this card simply to rebuild your credit and in that aspect, it does it's job. It reported to my reports immediately after the first bill was sent to me (which included the annual fee).

The card took a few weeks to arrive and once I activated it, I was sent my first bill with the $99 annual fee on it. I pay it off immediately. I checked my scores and they also went up about 25-30 points pretty quickly. I have been using the card for one and a half years and my score has steadily risen to about 585. As a rebuilder, I would say that this card is "ok". There are worse cards out there that charge you an arm and a leg on fee. For this card, I had a $75 AF, but did not have to pay any monthly fees or processing fees. But they do increase your credit limits and they also do not have a mobile app.

The good thing about this card for me was that I was approved and my AF was quite ok ($75). They also do report to all 3 credit agencies and my scores have gone up by using this card. Like many have mentioned here, just charge a bit every month to the card and pay it off in full. Also, like others mentioned, they do not increase your credit limit and their website is so 1990s!
This card will help rebuilders. It will be useful up to a certain point.

I got this card about 2 months after my BK was discharged. Before that, I got approved for Cap One secured and Opensky. So this was my first "unsecured" card. These 3 cards helped me rebuild and after 2 years, my score has risen over 100 points. All I do is merely put about $30 each month on each card and pay it off in full. I send my checks early to make sure I am never late.
I have since gotten 2 capital on cards and a couple of store cards. I have also canceled all 3 cards that I got earlier since I do not want to continue paying those annual fees.

I got the milestone about 4 months after my bankruptcy was discharged. My annual fee was $99 and the credit limit was $300. After the card arrived and was activated, I got the first bill with the $99 AF on it. I paid it off immediately so I had the full $300 limit. I checked my credit report after I got approved and saw about a 25 point improvement in all my scores. I used the card to very little (about $15 to $25) a month just to put something on it. I PIF every month as well. Not long after I got this card, I also applied and was approved for fingerhut and a credit one. The credit one came with a $75 AF.
After about a year, my scores had improved from 512 to 605. Since I had 3 cards, I cannot really attribute this solely to milestone. I never had any problems with the card though I did notice that like what others have said here, they do not increase your credit limit. My fingerhut started at $250 and now it is $750. Credit one started at $300 and after six months, they increased it to $500.
My goal is to get a couple of no AF cards and then cancel both this card and credit one. Fingerhut has no annual fee, so I'll probably keep that for a bit.

My credit took a dive because of a job loss and some unpaid bills. As part of the rebuild process, I got this card. Before that, I had started off with the capital one secured. The reason I went with this card is because it was unsecured and it did not come with all sorts of nasty fees. Yes, I have to pay a $75 AF. But other cards were worse (monthly fees and all that).
The AF gets billed the first statement so my suggestion would be to pay it off immediately. I also had my payment put on hold for a couple of times for about a week. Customer service is definitely not US based. This was not a recurring problem and I only called CSR once.
Having said all that, the card has served it's purpose and I will be cancelling it once I get a couple of no AF cards with a decent limit.

For rebuilders, I would say that this card does it's job of helping you get a line, reports to bureaus and helps you with your score. Mine certainly increased after getting this card and using it. The annual fee seems ok compared to other cards that also charge monthly processing fee etc.
But your credit line never increases. After getting this card, I managed to get my hands on fingerhut and credit one and eventually a capital one card. I started with $250 on fingerhut and it is now at $700. Started with $300 on credit one and now my limit is $700. Started with $300 on capital one and now my limit is $1500.
I have since canceled my milestone card. It did serve it's purpose and the fees weren't too bad. But just use this as a stepping stone to cards that give you CLI.

I got this card when my score was about 631. AF was $59, got 23% APR and limit of 300. After I was approved, my card took about 5 weeks to arrive. Once I activated it, they sent me a bill with the $59 AF and I had 2 weeks to pay. Here is my experience with this card.
Pros
1. After I got my card, it started reporting and my scores went up 30 points in all 3 bureaus.
2. AF was not too bad.
Cons
1. I got payment hold for about 1 week.
2. Website is not that great.
3. they do not give credit line increases.
I guess it was worth bumping my scores up 30 points and more after I used it. But once I got a couple of capital one cards, I closed it.

After another 7 months, they went up a further 50 points across all 3 credit bureaus. I was then able to get a Capital One and even a barclaycard. This card has served it's purpose and I will be cancelling it.

The milestone card is my second card. I got approved with a $75 annual fee and $300 credit limit. I might try to open one more trade line. But I'll be using these 2 cards now to rebuild. All cards targeted at bad credit folks like us are not great. But they do serve a purpose, which is to help us rebuild. This card is no different. And we all know that we need to get at least 3 or 4 trade lines so even if we get 2 great cards, we'll end up with one that is not so good. After doing a lot of research, I've come to the conclusion that there are worse cards out there.
I myself got this card and all I do is charge my bills to it and end up putting $55 on the card a month. I PIF so the interest rate does not bother me at all. That, together with my secured card and 2 other cards (credit one and fingerhut) has helped me increase my score by over 80 points.
The downside of this card is that they do not give credit line increases whereas both my credit one and fingerhut did.
