After a nasty divorce, my credit score just plunged. After rebuilding with a couple of secured credit cards, I decided to accept the mail offer: $50 AF, $500 limit and 22.9% interest. I applied online and was approved for a $1000 limit. Compared with other cards like First Premier, this one looks like an angel.

I am about 2 years out of BK and have a First Premier card. The fees are way over a hundred bucks a month. I got a mail with a pre-approval with a $500 limit and $50 annual fee and 22% interest rate. I was looking to add another card to increase my overall limits and the fee compared to my FP looks very good. I applied online but got the pending decision. Called a week later and was approved for $2000. Couldn't believe my eyes! Now, I am really tempted to dump my First Premier.

I am rebuilding my credit (which I think is now fair). I got the pre-approved letter in the mail. The terms were $50 AF and $1500 limit. APR was like 22%. I applied online and was approved. This card is sure better than my First Premier (which has a lot more fees and 36% APR).

After using the card for 6 months, I received offers from regular cards and now have a Barclays and Citi. I think this would not have happened without this card.

Before the financial crisis in 2008, my credit was was about 790. Life was good. But the market meltdown hit and my business went under along with my credit score as I struggled with cash flow. It was an uphill climb rebuilding. Show was one of the credit cards which I received an offer for. I was approved and they gave me a $1500 limit which seems very reasonable given the $50 annual fee. I had a couple of other cards with $99 annual fee and a $300 limit. My score was improved and is now in the mid 700s.
