I may not be the best person to put in a review because I collect credit cards like most people collect baseball cards, but recently I started comparing my cards and this one really doesn't hold a candle to my Capital One, Credit One or Discover Cards and with that said it probably is a good starter card, but not much more.
The rate is high, as is the annual fee, but I don't carry much of a balance on it, but it's nice to have. The $500 limit is a bit low and after looking at what it would cost me annually, I think I may chop this one up and cancel the account. Try some of the bigger name cards, but if this is the only one you can get, just use it to pay something small over 3-6 months and then maybe dump it because your score should have increased quite a bit by then.

I got a statement today for my annual fee and no card yet so let’s see if it comes tommorrow. That is what kept it from getting 5 stars. But the customer service was nice and easy to get a hold of. If u want to avoid fees, pay the balance off each month and u won’t see a dime of interest. And avoid cash advances.

Not mistaken you can you *speedpay with your debit card and that will free up your account and funds faster. That’s what I was told. And yes there are phone numbers and live agents.

Credit was decimated after bad divorce. Started off with $500 credit limit. I’ve been using the card on a regular basis and making weekly payments instead on one monthly payment. This way I am never late and I can easily pay more than the minimum this way. I’ve received 2 increases both for $300. Yes the interest is high, but I’m starting over and it’s the price I pay until I get to where I can get a prime card. I’ve had NO problems with customer service. I’ve let them know when I have to go out of town and when I return. You’ve got less than great credit, you get a less than prime credit card until you recover your credit score.

I got this card a year ago when my Credit was onky 435. Using this and only one other card, I've gone up to 680. It HAS an App. Continental Finance App. You can make pmts. easily, I don't know why others are complaining. Also, I never paid $50 to start, and and it is Unsecured so, yeah. Maybe people just don't want to find out all the info. first, but it's all there when you apply. Good card to help bad Credit.

Accepted this card when my husband died suddenly 3,000 miles from home. The website has a couple quirks but if you fiddle with it, ultimately everything works. I pay the monthly and annual fee immediately. I keep it at a zero balance. I've considered cancelling but I'm comforted knowing it is there.
