Got this card right after my bankruptcy was finalized and it has served its purpose for helping me rebuild. I only use it once a month and pay the balance without any issues. The one issue I don't like, is that it takes 5-7 business days for them to credit the payments you make on the account. It is a very antiquated process, but probably saves them money in some way. I will keep this for emergency purchases only, but will keep it at a zero balance.

I got a statement today for my annual fee and no card yet so let’s see if it comes tommorrow. That is what kept it from getting 5 stars. But the customer service was nice and easy to get a hold of. If u want to avoid fees, pay the balance off each month and u won’t see a dime of interest. And avoid cash advances. If I’m
Not mistaken you can you *speedpay with your debit card and that will free up your account and funds faster. That’s what I was told. And yes there are phone numbers and live agents.

Accepted this card to bump up my total available credit. Original interest rate has dropped and I keep the balance at $0 (remember you don't need to carry a balance to build credit). Pay on time every time and score jumps. It won't happen overnight. Be patient and credit will improve. Cheers!

got approved for $500 card with $125 fee, then $96 2nd yr + $10/mo. needed to help with cash flow until home refi is complete. I needed a mastercard. the irksome thing is the hold on payment. Same company as First Premier but no way to make debit card payments unless you pay their $10.95 fee. Eff you.... you bottom feeders charge egregious fees and want even more. Will not pay a dime of interest to you guys. I can work around their f'd up payment posting and will drop this card before annual fee hits. AVOID THIS CARD. IT IS A TRAP DESIGNED TO MAKE YOUR SITUATION WORSE!!

Approved for an initial line of $750 in Oct 2020. I didn't use this card at all until I tried to use it in Mar 2021 but was declined at the register. The website says "zero balance" but also "zero remaining credit"... I called to find out that my card was closed back in Dec 2020 and they don't even know why.
The customer service agent kept putting me on hold. I'm guessing she was hoping I'd hang up. She eventually said "we strongly advise you to reapply" Ya, good luck with that. I'm not giving you my business ever again. I encourage others to pass on this company as well.

Pay in full every month but takes almost two weeks before payment is applied. Use the card to pay bills that I may need a few more days with due date and it's a real problem.

I recently got another Credit Card from Capital One (Unsecured) as well as TotalVisa just approved me for $300 I have never missed a payment on neither of my first 2 cards -MyPremire MasterCard & CreditOneBank Visa. I guess the fact that I just accepted a card from Capital One had an effect on their decision but it was only for $300 limit which increases after 3 months of on-time payments. About 2 weeks later I also accepted another $300 credit line from TotalVisa. I have been approved for Credit Line Increases w/ my first credit card and my on time payments are 100% so why am I being told to put $500 down first?! NOT HAPPENING!

I was told that I’m pre-approved for $500 with a $500 increase after on time payments from this “REFLEX” credit company (super gaudy) so I did the whole thing only to be told I need to put down a deposit?!? That’s absolutely insane! I will definitely be disputing this HARD credit inquiry as I was knowingly mis-lead into having my credit ran for a secured card which was NEVER mentioned! I don’t have a long credit history and I jumped up 100 pts in the past 9 months because I pay off my credit cards and I am trustworthy.... The nerve of you tell me to put ANYTHING down after going through the ENTIRE process without mentioning in your “reference number” letter or on the website that it was secured. I have a short credit history, 4 Cards opened in a little under a year I understand that. But I’m a 29 year old husband & father trying to build towards a brighter future & ultimately a mortgage.
It’s frustrating knowing who I am as a trustworthy client sitting here w/ a TransUnion score of 639 (FICO 611) you’d think I’d have a little more leeway than the others in this thread. I mean that w/ no disrespect but a 540 score receiving an unsecured offer while I’m being asked to put $500 down?!? 639! Cmon people! Imy total revolving credit of $1,400 is like WIDELY below average and it’s hurting my overall score & chances with lenders and I don’t understand why I’m not being offered a minimum of $5,000. Me and my Wife make over $100,000 a year. If these companies would actually take a look at our profiles I bet they would be salivating on-site! I feel like I’m in a hole and the only tool I have to find my way out is a shovel. How would u feel if you got a late start on your credit file. Got yourself up to mid 600’s after being In the low 500’s for a lifetime, only to be told you aren’t trustworthy.

Shame on you “Reflex” because you are not American Express, Chase or Capital One and you’ll never make it out on top with decisions like this knowing you carry more fees than a county fair. Just remember, it’s people like me that’s willing to pay the extra money to establish a foundation of credit history. Again, 100% on-time payments. My only “negative” is I have utilized a high percentage of revolving credit but imo that’s a positive for the credit companies, it’s not like I carry the balance over month to month. A week or 2 max otherwise it’s paid off so fast my Experian/Capital One “Creditwise” reports show 11% utilization.

Peace and love to all & long story short ...”look elsewhere, you’ll thank me later “

The company must be run by morons, I order a card they send it but misspelled my first name on the card, i then have to jump through hoops to get this corrected, they do not do emails so i have to fax my dl and a water bill to prove my name, They then say they will send the card along with an extra card for my wife 24 days later no card, so i call they say they have to cancel my card that i am holding and then they will send another card, So in the meantime i cannot use the card. Wait ten days no card i call them now they want me to fax them proof of my address, they are idiots, they already have that in the system, but tell me its impossible they sent it too my address, i told them it was probably lost in the mail just send another, they then want proof of my address. I cancelled the card and told them to send my credit of 25.00 as i overpaid the last bill.

This card is too difficult to monitor. If you are truly trying to improve your credit, this card does nothing to help ease the tension and frustration already experienced with a 'no help' financial system. With no customer service to speak of, to much time before payments are posted to your account, unfriendly navigation needed to understand and use paperless billing statements, high interest rates, and unbelievable high fees, this card is capable of causing more harm than good. I rarely use this card. I only keep it active to take advantage of the $800 credit line which strongly helps with the valuation impact on the credit score.

I recommend getting a $300 secured Discover card and make timely payments for 6 months. Then watch your credit score rise. I went from 545 to 711 in 14 months. I stopped using the REFLEX Card 3 months after I got it. REFLEX gave me a credit line increases from $500 to $800 and I'm not even using the card.

Absolutely no benefit. Three Bogus charges appeared on my statement in December 2018 totaling $ 141.61. I contacted Reflex Fraud Management. They sent a new card. I then received a etter - they would investigate. In December Reflex made an adjustment to my account for one of those charges. As of 2/20/19 there has been no further communication from Reflux and the remaining two transactions are still on my account. I cancelled the Reflex card because I am unable to trust this company. I did some research on one of the bogus charges and found out the Portillos # 12 OLO has been involved in other fraudulent activities. Why hasn't Reflex located the same information?. I cancelled the card because I have no assurance this will not happen again.

I'm insulted to have received a pre-approval offer from this company after reading all the reviews. I've never heard of so many fees and charges up front before even being able to use the card. Maybe the card would work for individuals who really need an unsecured credit start or are in desperate need of rebuilding severely damaged credit, if all those fees weren't attached. And to make matters worse, if there is no way to make online payments, no live customer service agents to call and no means of having payments immediately applied to the account for use, the card would truly be of NO USE TO ANYONE. It sounds to me like this card is a "don't do it" waiting to happen. Be smart and "just say no"!

My credit has been idle for the past 5 years so I decided to add a few cards and received an offer from Relex in the mail about 2 weeks after. Initial offer online stated I was pre-approved but later asked for a $50 deposit. I debated it for a week and paid the $50 security deposit , for a $500 credit line , with a $78 annual fee.
So , after receiving the card I find their Website to be antiquated and not user friendly at all . I cannot activate my card although their website says I have a $78 balance due in about 3 weeks , Nor does it give me any option to pay the balance , close my account or talk to a real person.
Tried to use my card on Ebay , it was declined multiple times and said I need to contact my card provider.

Everyone is different but looking back at the online reviews it said to AVOID this card (and their similar cards) at all cost.
I'm not sure what the problem is but I took a 3 point hit on my credit reports for their hard pull inquiry , and none of my credit reports show me opening a new account as of yet , and I applied almost 3 weeks ago.

Long rant , AVOID AT ALL COST -

False and misleading advertising. They ask many questions, run credit then come back on line to inform you that you have been "approved" for an secured which the offer was to supposed to have been an "unsecured" credit card which they neglected to say upfront.
