I've had this credit card for 3 years and I asked them to review my annual rate which is $99 and the customer service person told me that they could not lower this annual rate! Then I asked about the annual percentage rate to be lowered because Capital One and other credit card companies have done this and he told me the same thing. If you have bad credit or are starting out with no credit do NOT get this card. Their annual percentage rate is almost 25% SMH. If you have this card, close this account and look for another credit card company that cares about the longevity of their customers!

The card has a $300 limit and that is where it stays. It does not matter how often you use and pay off the card. This company will not increase the limit even when your credit score increases. This company will continue to charge you $99 per year to have the card and they do not want to budge with lowering the fee over time showing good use of all credit. The card is good when you have no credit and are in a jam - but once you get back on your feet, this is just not a good deal.

Went through foreclosure and some bad credit decisions young. In a little over a year I went from 415 to 600 by being aggressive with my credit disputes, using self lender and getting as many cards as I could but could only get secured cards. Indigo was the first unsecured card I could get with a 300 limit and 75 annual I believe but they are upfront and there were no hidden costs. They have no app which I don't like but payments can be made online and I've had no problem doing it. I've since gotten mission lanes card with a $500 unsecured limit and they give an increase to $1000 at 6 months with annual fee of $59 so I suggest going secured cards-indigo-mission lane, always be on time and don't even use them if you don't have to people will tell you that you have to use 20% but that's a myth you don't HAVE to use it just don't go OVER 20%. Is indigo a great credit card for everyday usage? Nope. But you're seeing this because you're like me and for rebuilding credit its fine I just eat the annual fee and suck it up I'll close it at the 2-3 year mark when my other credit limits are higher.

Stay away!! Been a customer for 3 yrs, pay off my balance before payment is due. Called today to see if they could lower the annual fee, and how to get a credit limit, was told they don't lower fee and will send letter regarding credit limit increase. I asked, why I couldn't get a increase I have been a faithful customer for 3yrs? Was told they don't do credit limit increases. So if it at all possible don't get this card. Best cards are Capitalone and creditone. They give increases very quickly. Not sure if worth dropping card, for fact it can hurt credit score.

Credit is good got the card when credit was a little low but I had this card for 3 years now and had never got a credit line increase for that I say this card sucks and milestone as well they both the same company when I got them both
So please don’t go for this card unless you are in need of 201.00 as of 15 days from the day you get approved
Annual fee of 99.00 it’s way to much

literally just got bankruptcy discharge a month before. like most this is the only card that would approve me. 75 dollar fee sucks with a 300 dollar limit but needed something to reserve hotels or car rentals. good way to start rebuilding but from what I've read they never give credit increases.
going to use for a year than cancel before the next 99 dollar fee.

Credit Karm prequalified me for this card even though the pre approval site kept sending me to secured cards. Luckily if you apply through CK it bypasses that I was approved which is as it should since I have a few other rebuilders (CapOne, Walmart, CreditOne). Will have this for a year then close when I move onto the higher tier.

They may not charge a monthly fee, but they do charge an annual fee of 99.00. So you will need to watch out for those of you who rack up the purchases as this will make you go over your limit. You will start out with a low limit, then after about 1 year a credit limit increase. Your score does not have to be 611 to qualify. This is based on the information you give and other credit cards you have. Credit utilization matters with every issuer. You may have a 700 credit score and max out your cards one month and you will not receive this card.

Do to medical I filed for bk.last year! Since that time I have a CL of $3000. In my research also used credit karma! I was able to get cap one 0 annual fees, also cap one quick silver, also credit one and indigo with a small $300 CL. Called customer service to complain about the annual fee told them to keep their card they waved the fee! So I kept the card never used it! Like my other cards I only use what I need and pay them off monthly!! To keep score climbing I have 5 credit cards within a year of bk! If you practice this it won't take long to build your credit!! So yes food card payoff before payment is due you won't pay interest! I do this with all my cards!

This card is not bad. I have an annual fee; I believe it is about $59. The only complaint I have is how slow the credit increases or maybe it doesn't. I am trying to get to a 700 credit score, and an increase would certainly help. I have made payments consistently, and have paid this credit card off completely twice, and it is still $300. It is the only credit card I have that has never increased.

Trying to improve my credit score and this is always suggested by credit sesame for a $300 limit. I have a 586 score and in very good payment history with my other 2 credit cards, car loan and 2 department store cards. I kept having problems with them processing my payments. Therefore i was put on block REALLY and charged fees and reported late. Customer service is poor and this was a waste of time and something i will have to take the hit for, told to close my acct. Asap! Never again.

I have been rebuilding my credit for the last year and a half. I already have a couple of secured cards and also a Fingerhut account. I applied and was actually denied by Credit One so I gave this card a shot and got approved. My annual fee is $35. About 8 months after I got the card, my scores are up to 670. I think this is a combination of me getting another trade line and sparingly using my available credit.

There appears to be lots of complaints about this card especially about the annual fees and how folks were not pre-approved for the unsecured version. As long as you read the terms and conditions, there should be no issues. There are a few versions of this card. The best being the one with no annual fee. If also have to pre-qualify. As long as you pre-qualify (soft pull), then you simply apply for the real thing.
Remember, this card is for rebuilding. Use only about 20% of your limit and pay on time and in full. Your scores will increase if you follow this practice.

Actually got an offer in the mail. So I did some research and many folks on credit karma also got similar offers saying they pre-qualified but when they went online to fill out the online forms, they got secured card offers instead.
So I decided to apply online and said to myself that if they sent me to the secured card page, I'll just skip it because I already have the Cap One. What I was looking for was for an unsecured card. Thankfully, I got taken to the unsecured page and got approved.

I did quite a bit of research on credit cards since I was recovering from BK and need to rebuild. One consistent theme about this card is that most sites say they are BK friendly. So I decided to give it a shot. Went through the pre-qual and got approved. For that, I give them a 4-star.

Have mixed feelings about this card. There is only an annual fee compared to others like First Premier. But after months of having this card, I still have not gotten any credit increase. With my Credit One, I got an increase from $300 to $600 after 4 months. Also got increases on my Fingerhut account. So I am a little disappointed in this aspect.

Had to close business. Credit got dinged so I am in the rebuilding phase. Chose this card because according to my research, the fees are reasonable compared to others. Score was in the low 500s when I got approved.
Actually, I've read a few forums where folks did not even get pre-approved and got routed to a page with secured card offers. Thought it might happen to me but luckily I got approved. Limit was merely $300 but I guess I have to start somewhere.

Have had a couple of secured cards for about 3 years and finally decided to get an unsecured card. Was approved for $300 and an annual fee. The reason I chose this card was because others seem to have application fees and a monthly fee on top of an annual fee.
With my secured cards, I always used only 20$ of my credit limits and paid them off every month. That probably explains why I got approved and many others with similar scores as I have not.

There are actually a few versions of this card. There apparently is a $0 annual fee version (saw it on the app page). I got the one with $59 annual fee. Not too happy with the CL. But I guess this card is better than others like Surge and First Premier. I hope to be able to get a no annual fee card in the next 18 months.
