Not sure which credit agency Barclay used but My scores at the time of 9/21/2015 were Exp,644, Trans635, Equifax 502. I was approved for a $500 credit limit. 5months later 2/25/2016 my Credit Limit went up to $1500. I am a stay at home mom. Helping my husband and I rebuild our credit after an embarrassing Bankruptcy 2yrs ago I have my husband as a Authorize user. I also have a small business but using my husbands income as approval. I called Barclay to confirm if I am allowed to use his income for approval and they said YES so they walked me through the process. Capital One also a stay at home wife friendly company. Good Luck to you all my scores as of today, Exp 684, Trans 649 Eqifax 605. Good luck

My TU score was about 775 when I applied. Was approved for $5k. What I really liked about this card is the utilities spending where you get 2X. I now charge all my gas, groceries and utilities to this card. And depending on how you use it, this is potentially a great 2% card.

Guess I was pre-selected with mail offers. No AF. 6 months at 0%. Thanks.

Oh - I use this card for my utility bills. Nice to earn 2X on that.

I have been looking to get my first unsecured no AF card since my BK 4 years ago. I have 2 secured cards with a total of $800 CL. I got approved for a $2000 (which is absolutely great). Here is what I think is the key to me getting approved.

1. Low utilization rate (10%).

2. Pay in full very often, Only carry a balance sometimes.

3. Pay on time ALWAYS..

Good luck.

I was approved for a $1500 credit line. My background was that I was discharged from BK about 7 years ago. My existing line is with Cap One secured ($300 limit). So this is my first unsecured card for a long while. Score was about 650 when I applied.

Before getting this card, I also have 2 Cap One cards with a total of $1500 CL. Every month, I only charge $200 a month on both cards and pay them off every month. My score was 632 when I applied and I got approved for $1700 CL.

What I like is that I can charge my utilities (even cable), gas and groceries to this card and earn rewards (in fact double points).

Got a $500 CL with a 620 score. First card that is unsecured since my credit took a dive. I am looking forward to rebuilding my credit with this card.

Medical bills resulted in a hit to my credit and I am still in the process of trying to rebuild my scores to a respectable level. My score is about 634 and I got a $1500. Thanks Barclays as I have been declined by about 3 issuers already for an unsecured card.

My score was 605 when I got this card and was given a $750 limit. I have been using this card and paying everything in full. I charge about $150 a month on it to keep my utilization low. My score is now about 645 and my target is to get to 700 within a year or so.

Score was about 700 and all I got was a $750 CL. Think it is rather low but I'll take it. I did not get immediate approval but got a call and had to answer a couple of security questions.

I think the rewards are simply great. 2% for groceries and gas are common with some cards. But 2% for utilities is absolutely great. The rewards post after every transaction too.

The Fico score is supposed to update every month but I find that somethings it updates once every two months. The reason I know this is because my Walmart card also has this feature and it updates every month like a clockwork. It is not a big deal to be honest, but thought I'd share the observations with everyone.

These are my 'real' fico scores. Have 3 medical collections when I applied. But I got approved for $750. This was really surprising to me given my past collection accounts. But I am really grateful to Barclays and I look forward to rebuilding with this card.

I applied for this card when they had the 0% for 6 months deal so I could transfer some balances over. Got approved for $2000. I like the fact that you could get TU scores and I have also been successful in getting 2X for my utilities.

I got out of BK 2.5 years ago. When I was discharged, I knew that rebuilding my credit would be a huge priority. I opened a secured card and made sure I paid my bills in full. I also managed to open a sub prime unsecured card (with annual fee).

My goal has always been to be able to get a no fee unsecured card with a larger limit. After much research, I decided to give this card a shot. I got an auto loan months before and hence had some 'hard inquiries' but nevertheless, I got approved for $1500.

This is the largest line I have gotten so my utilization went down (it was already low and never exceeded 30%). The rate was 24.99% though and I intend to pay my bills in full most of the time.

Six months after approval and paying on time, I got my credit increased by $1000 to $1500. After about a year and a half, my score is now about 60 points higher and has gone from the 500s to 600s. I will keep working to bring it up to 700s to be considered 'prime'.

When I got the card I had a been out of chapter 7 bk for about a year. I had already opened a couple of accounts like capital one secured, and even a Macy's card. Paid all my bills on time. My utility bills were also all paid on time. I was actually quite surprised that I was approved. Card has been good to me so far.

When I applied, I knew my score was about slightly below 700 and I got a $1000 credit line. I really like the rewards and I use this card at the gas stations, grocery stores and also to pay my utility bills.

But one of the features that I really like is the online store partnerships. If you want to shop online, check to see if they partner up with Barclays first. Log into your Barclays account and then go to the site from Barclays. You will earn more points (a lot more) and I have found that you can also use coupons and really save even more.

I got approved for $1300 in CL with a 703 score (TU). What I like about the card is the 2X on groceries, gas and utilities. The one peeve I have about this is that there is hardly anything to redeem for except statement credit (which is like cash back). Don't get me wrong. I do not mind this except that sometimes, I wish I could redeem for better stuff other than statement credits.

My credit is not exactly the best. With a mid 500 score, I got approved for $500. After a year, it got increased to $1500. I really like the double points rewards and sometimes, there are special deals for certain merchants as well. Thumbs up for this card.

I have been getting 'pre-approved' mails from barclays. Finally decided to apply for this and got approved.

The 2X rewards is very practical for me (and I would think for most people since we all spend money gas, groceries and utilties). The points post very fast and I will try to fill you folks in on which groceries are accepted for 2X for this card.

My credit took a hit a few years ago and I have been steadily rebuilding to the point where my score is now in the low 600s. Got a $1300 credit line. I make use of the rewards and I really like the double points on gas, grocery and utilities (which I charge to this card). The interest rate is high though. For those of us who carry a balance occasionally, this is a big deal. Mine was 24.99% I think. I give this a 4 star, and it would have been 5 if not for the high interest rate.

Applied and got approved for $4000 limit. This card pays 1 point on general expenses and 2 points on gas, groceries and utilities. I have found that they definitely count trader joes, acme and even walmart for groceries. My electric, gas and water bills also earn double points.

The one thing that impresses me about this card is that the points post after your purchase. You can login into your account and watch your points grow. You can also redeem for $10 and not the usual $25 (ie 1000 points rather than 2500 points).

I got this card with a 625 score and got a $500 CL. But after a year, I got a CLI bumped up to $2000. I have 2 secured cards (First Progress and Cap One) and this is my first unsecured card since my credit took a nose dive a few years ago. So far, this card has been great.

Had BK 3 years ago and have since steadily rebuilt my credit. I got several mails with 'pre-approved' offers and I finally decided to bite the bullet by applying online. My income is now about $85k and I got approved for a $1200 CL. I am fine with that since my score is less than 700.

I have been getting pre-approved mails from barclays but never acted on them. Then I stumbled upon here and after folks getting approved with low 600s scores, I decided to pull the trigger and got approved! 627 score with $1700 CL. I have 2 other cards with very low utilization, so perhaps that helps.

I pay in full so even though my rates are 24.99%, it does not bother me one bit. The utilities (2X) is great and the rewards boost is wonderful as well. Before you shop online, make sure to check with Barclays to see if there is any deals there.
