I applied for the Ollo Platinum card when my credit score was 615-ish and making only about $12,000 a year. I was approved in summer of 2017 and I still have it. I haven't had a limit increase or an interest rate reduction, but I don't mind as this card is for helping people with low credit build it up. My credit is coming back up and was getting really nice and then I lost my job early in 2021. I've been able to make payments until Aug 2021 and I'll be unable to make my Sept 2021 payment because I've used all my savings up. My online account login was hacked and password changed and it made me late on a payment. I got the late fee waived, paid the two months of payments I needed to get current on and asked if they had an assistance plan for people unemployed and struggling with the pandemic. They do have a 6 month plan, and I have only a tiny payment to make and no interest or late fees. I've never had a credit card company even help with payment plans when I've been homeless and in the hospital. I feel relief having one less thing to worry about right now. Much thanks to Ollo for having an assistance plan for people who are struggling this year!

My bankruptcy was discharged in April 2020 and I received a pre approval letter in the mail. Was denied immediately. Automatically reduces my credit score by 3 points. Disappointed.

One of the best cards I ever had. No problem with service in fact excellent. You have to make your payments on time as a result your credit limit will be increased after about 8 months..... love this card

All the negative reviews on Ollo card posted between 01/31/2021 and 02/02/2021 just go to show how reactive an utterly ridiculous people are. Ollo encountered a system glitch that is not a system breach that accidentally sent out messages the accounts had been closed. They sent an email out stating that it is an error and that whereby card usage may be affected ... they are working through the technical difficulty. I too like so many others, wondered what had happened, but SO many people just react! So negatively - and over what? Accounts have not been closed. They are working through a TECHNICAL DIFFICULTY! I'm personally not worried, because the card is nice to have, but I can also survive without it. I feel bad that Ollo has been given such a bad rap, by people jumping to conclusions and being so rude about being two days offline from their card. Wow, what entitlement.

Like so many others, my account was suddenly closed without warning. I have guaranteed income during this pandemic, as I'm on VA and Social Security pensions. There's no rhyme or reason here. Never been late, never missed a pymt. Smh.

Customer service is terrible. They lure you in with high cash back, but it just isn't worth it. The company is horrible to work with, you'll never get someone on the phone. I use probably 10 cards on a regular basis, never have issues with any of them except OlloCard. I would high suggest going with a real credit card company.

Hmm what joke I built my credit back up they increased my limit to 3500 after no missed payments . I paid my balance in full so I had it if needed. A week later my available is 300. Customer service has no clue why but "I'll get a letter" hmm thanks Ollo!!

I loved Ollo in the beginning. Now I realize all they are here for is to destroy your hard work of rebuilding your credit. I had a limit of $3,900. I never made a late payment and never had any issues. I paid off my card so I could use it for another large purchase. Then Ollo decides that they are going to take my available credit down to $300.00. So the first thing I do is call customer service and they have no clue what’s going on. And she tells me oh you’ll be getting a letter because the bank decided they were going to drop your available funds. So I hop online and see that I’m not the only one that Ollo is screwing over. They seem to be doing this to a lot of people and I really think they need to be investigated! This being done in a pandemic when people may need their credit funds available shows how sketchy this company is. Needless to say I’m closing my card with this absurd company.

Wish I could give them 0 stars or better yet negative score. The most dis-respective credit card company ever. Closed my paid off account after just 3 month of inactivity. without any warning. Customer service as well as management consist of very rude, condescending people.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from any of their offers.

I never missed a payment. Paid the account off in September of 2019. Called to check available balance because of the Coronavirus situation right now and my card had been closed two days ago because of no activity. No warning. Cannot reopen the account. I understand the policy, but because of the situation in the world right now I think this was very wrong on their part as a business. They obviously are not trying to help the American people like all the other companies right now

The only issue that I have with the card they don't give credit line increases like they said they was going to . I'm stuck on $1,100 which I can't use but 20% because if I use more it will cause my credit score to go down like 30 points.

I applied and was approved for this Ollo card. A company I just began dealing with made an unauthorized charge. I immediately called said company, and received no resolution. I called Ollo customer service and the rep hung up the phone. I was not rude nor disrespectful just wanted a resolution and received NOTHING but a hang up. They Do Not increase your balance with on time payments. That is what attracted me to this company. So, now no increases, rude CSR reps, and I’m stuck paying for an unauthorized charge. I have locked the card, will pay it off ASAP- funny, looking into the history of this card- run by an ex BOA executive. Need I say more????? Disgusting.

I have had my Ollo card for years with no real issues, then I had some fraudulent claims, one of which were some tickets to an event that I did not buy tickets for and they sided with Ticketmaster. So randomly after a couple months the charges just pop up back into my account. Of course Ticketmaster is going to claim it was me. What happened to Zero Liability Fraud, what a load of crap. I am aggressively paying off this card now so I can get rid of it ASAP. This is why they have a terrible reputation online. 5 years ago it was a good card for people rebuilding, now it is absolute S*#T!

I was skeptical about getting the card because I had never heard of it. A co-worker stated they had one and was happy with it. So I had applied and was approved. I have now had it for several months now, but never had to use it. Today, we were notified of a security alert of suspicious charges. What is strange is that we have NEVER used this card, nor even taken it outside of the home yet. I'm not sure how that can happen exactly, but it seems like a breach within the organization. For the cards that I do use regularly, I have yet (thankfully) had this issue. I will be paying particularly close attention to this card, and if it happens again, it is going to be cancelled. The people in the security department are rather rude as well.

Filed bankruptcy in January and discharged in May. Waited to improve a situation with student loans then applied. Credit scores according to Experian as follows: Experian 623, Equifax 603, Transunion 549. Wasn't expecting to be approved but took a chance as I couldn't think of anything else other than secured loans or cards to improve my credit rating. I was approved with Ollo for $300 line of credit. While thats very low, I am excited to start rebuilding my credit. May apply for capital one in 6 months or less based on credit score improvements.

Ollo MasterCard fooled me with false advertisement of pre-approval, but when I have applied, denied for no real reason. There were no major changes in my credit score/report. Now they have violated my score with their inquiry. I would have never apply for this credit card without pre-approval. Horrible customer service and abdsolute dishonest false advertisement, I guess it's good I didn't get it.

I was discharged in June 2018 and received the invite in Nov 2018. I wasn't sure about the offer because I had never heard of Ollo before. I thought it may have been a fluke since it was so soon after discharge. I applied and was instantly approved for $1600 and boy was I shocked. I use at least $1200 of my limit every month but I pay it off in full each time. During that same time I also recieved an invite from Merrick and was approved for $750 and supposedly after 6 months they double the limit so we shall see what happens there. I also have Cap1 secured that started at $600 and was surprised that they gave me an increase of $300 at about the 6 month mark, so now I have $900 with them. Overall I'm okay with what I have. I have not had any payment or customer service issues with Ollo so perhaps they have stepped their game up recently. I use their mobile app to make payments and view my account. I honestly have nothing to complain about with them.

I do not have any other cards except store card . I would like to have an emergency card for when I travel . I am not quite sure what my credit score is , but assume it is a little low since it has been a while since I have had cards and , my home is nearly paid for . please consider approval of a platinum m/c so I can re-start my credit on a very careful basis . thanks.

seems like it would be a good card for those with lower credit, as there is no annual fee or any monthly fees like i see some of the other credit cards for lower credit scores have. i had read something else that said something about 0% interest for so many months for purchases and balance transfers, however that was either incorrect or was not offered to me. on the fence about cancelling the card before i activate it as i dont want too many cards and already have 2 with cap one ($850, $3,000) as well as 3 store cards with cap one (kohls-$1,300, maurices-$300, menards-$2500). also have a card with kay jewelers, through genesis bank for $3700. the card seems less appealing to me with the $800 limit, as well as no 0% interest like i thought i'd read about. i'm already using the lower limit cap one card for regular bills on auto pay and paying in full.

This is extremely interesting. I was offered this card via Credit Karma and I had "a 90% chance of approval". I am currently rebuilding my credit and looking to make my utilization lower. I'm currently using an Amazon Sync Bank card with $1000 limit, Discover It with $2000 limit, Capital One Quicksilver One with $500 limit and a Capital One Savor Card with a $1000 limit. This will, at the very least, help boost me into the 700-club. Good luck to you!

Easy and quick instant online approval with no hassles or waiting a week or more. No rewards offered, deferred interest or balance transfer. APR is high but I won't keep a high balance anyway. Good SL and is one of my highest, they beat Discover SL of $1500. I will be closing my creditone AF CC of $1900. Seems to be better than capital one CC and I did get the invite mailer with reservation code. Applied on the last day offer was to expire. Wish it were a Visa Card instead!

Payments take a lot of time to clear. I applied to a better interest card about 2 weeks ago and was approved with a credit line of $3000. I consolidated all my credit cards into this one new card. All cards have been paid, except OLLO. OLLO does not take wire transfers, therefore payment was sent via regular mail. I has been more than 10 days and OLLO claims they have not received payment.

I'm thankful for the opportunity to rebuild my credit. Downside: (1) online bill pay. Both Citibank and Chase cannot recognize this company even after I put in my 16 digit credit card number. So no way for my bank to pay Ollo directly. The only way to pay Ollo is to give Ollo my routing number and bank account number, which I prefer not to give to my credit card company. (2) No app yet, so I have to input my user id & password on my mobile phone using a browser. Capital one, USAA, etc has apps that has fingerprint recognition, making it easy to log in.

I received the invite in the mail so I applied and I was approved for a 2,000 credit limit. I filed bankruptcy about 3 1/2 years ago now and based on Credit Karma my Transunion score is 665 and Equifax is 685. I will only put on this card what I can pay off each month. Hopefully this card will take my credit score to the 700's... Good Luck to all

Got the invitation in the mail. Have had two fully secured cards at $300 ea for less than a year. Got approved for this one at $1K at ~ 580 EX-08 and 610 TU-08. No annual fee, few other fees, no rewards. I am curious to see how the service, billing, etc all works out, especially eventual product changes and automatic line increases with this being a new credit brand.

so my scores are like 675 area and I got the invitation in the mail. The question is that I already have the capital one quicksilver, fingerhut, credit one, and macys. Is there really a need for this given the lack of track record. I'm just tempted to wait until my score reaches 700 and get a "real" and "proper" card. Right now, I think I risk getting approved for the Ollo but having a tiny limit.

I give this a 4 star for having no annual fee. The limit was low (but so were my other higher fee cards). I got approved with a low 600 score and my friend was denied with a high 600 score!

Score was 634 and I got approved for $300. The limit kind of sucks cos my other cards like credit one gave me the same starting limit. But there is no annual fee compared to credit one and my other cards.

With credit one, I did get an increase in credit lines after six months. Let's see how this card fares in that regard.

here's what I see as the pros and cons

pros
1. no fx fee
2 no late payment and over-the-limit fee

cons
1. no annual fee
2. no 0% intro offer

I applied just to add some total credit lines to my portfolio.

I will give this card a 4 star for the fact that there is no annual fee and foreign transaction fee. The negatives are that I got a low limit and the APR is rather high. It matters to me since I carry a balance occasionally even though everyone says I should not given my financial situation.

I got the invite in the mail. Terms are

$0 annual fee
24.9% APR

I am on the fence about this as the rate is too high.

Finally, I am able to get a no annual fee card after a few years of paying high fees. My next card will be a Macy's card and I'll probably try to get a Sears card as well.

Just as a reference, I got the mail invitation and my score was 668. I did not apply because the interest rate is high to me. 24.9% is definitely sub-prime type of APR.

This card is definitely competing with Capital One. It does not charge any foreign transaction fee so those of you who travel abroad may want to look at this. I will pass for now and go for an Amex once my score goes above 700.

I got the email invite and was thinking hard about it. I have been rebuilding for the last 3 years and feel I am close to the coveted 700 score. I already have the Capital One Quicksilver, having dumped a couple of high fee cards along the way. I decided to apply to add another no annual fee card into the mix. I was approved for $1000. So far so good.

I'll give this card a 5 star because they approved me at a mid 500 score and it has NO ANNUAL FEE. I will live with the $200 limit because I have a couple of high fee cards with only a $300 limit or so but with ridiculous fees. I'm sure glad they sent me the invite in the mail.

This is probably the most decent credit I have gotten given my score. The best I have gotten is a $500 limit from cap one.
