I have been with USAA for 20 years. But I only got this card recently. Always had their checking account and have had a couple of auto loans with them. And also have their insurance. When I decided to get a credit card from them, I chose this one because it was a Visa. Didn't want an Amex because they are not as widely accepted. USAA's has fantastic customer service.

Have been with USAA for 15 years. I have their checking account and auto insurance. I was looking for a new credit card decided to get this card (since I do not want an amex). As with the rest of the organization, customer service is very good and reps are always friendly.
My score was 755 and I got a $20000 credit line.

I was (and maybe still in) a credit rebuilding mode.I had a secured card from a credit union as well as the usaa amex secured card. I wanted to get a regular unsecured card and decided to go this rewards card. I avoided the amex version because visa is more widely accepted. I applied and was instantly approved. Believe they pulled EQ (score was 645) and they gave me a nice $5000 limit.

I started out my relationship with USAA with an auto loan. It helped me save like $40 a month from my previous insurer. Their customer service has been wonderful and they always treat their members well. I later opened a checking account and the service has been fantastic as well. When I wanted to get a new credit card, I figured out why not USAA even though they are not really mainstream. They have Amex, Visa and Mastercard offerings but I decided to go with Visa because they are the most widely accepted.

USAA watches your account like a hawk. They texted me once about some small but suspicious charges made on my itunes account for quite a lot of apps. I responded and told them that it was not me. They took care of it. As far as customer service goes, they are the best.

It seems like I have been with USAA forever. Have checking account with them, mortgage and auto loans as well. I actually have 2 of their credit cards (this being one of them). Customer service is outstanding.
I was once alerted to a fraudulent charge (that was real) and was glad that I got the text alert.

Here's my story about customer service that really impressed me. I was using my card to shop for a TV online. I got a call from USAA asking if I knew my card was being used for a large online purchase. I told them yes, and that it was me buying my TV.
I was really impressed with this and am really confidant that they will spot any fraudulent charges.

I have had this card for a few years and am really happy with it. Here is one incident which really impressed me. I realized that I had lost my card on Sunday. I called USAA and got the card canceled. And a new card arrived on Wednesday. That is what I call customer service!

I was looking for a new credit card as my existing ones had high rates and customer service wasn't to my expectations. I already had a checking account with USAA as well as an auto loan in the past which has long been paid off. I decided to call to apply over the phone (since I do not like doing transactions online). After guiding me through the various options, I settled on this card and so far, I can say that customer service with USAA is still the best.

I have had no problems with this card or with USAA as a bank and I am glad to be a member. It's nice to automatically earn points on all purchases and a nice surprise when they add up and you can redeem for travel, gift cards, or cash. I'd definitely recommend.
