I originally deposited $500 when I applied. After 5 months, I decided to increase it by another $500. I was very surprised that I could not increase my limit online. Instead, I had to call customer service and it was quite a long wait and conversation with 2 reps. When all is said and done, it took 3 days to withdraw from my checking account and another 3 days to see the new limit on the card.

I got this card to rebuild my credit after a lot of research. I have had this card for over 2 years and I have not graduated and my scores have improved at most 20 points. I had a foreclosure, a car repo and a few collections. Most of these will drop off in the next year and a half. So this is just a caution for those who are in my situation. If you have lots of baddies in your report, do not expect to graduate within a year. You might also have to wait for those to drop off before your scores will improve.

Everything about the card is actually good. However, I had problems when I first applied. Rather than a straight approval, pending or denial, I was asked to provide W2 and proof if id! Once that was resolved, everything went smoothly.
