Executive Summary - I think Discover has pulled ahead of most cash back cards because of the flexibility in which they allow you to redeem the cash back you have earned. Now, they have even outdone themselves by letting you redeem with merchants like Amazon.com and iTunes!
There are also a number of different ways in which you can redeem the cash back that you have earned.
For example, you can redeem them with you shop with certain merchant partners. We'll take a look at a couple of them here.
The most notable merchant partner is Amazon.com. Yes, that's right. You can use your Discover Card to make purchases at amazon.com. You first have to link up your card and then each time you make a purchase, you can simply choose to use your cash back instead. For those of you who shop at amazon often, this is an absolutely great card to get. For every dollar of cash back you have, you can spend that exact amount at amazon.
Another popular merchant is iTunes. Since most of us have our iPads and a iTunes account, you can use your cash back from Discover and purchase lots of songs and apps!
