After getting the card, I forgot to sign up for the quarterly bonus. They actually do send you reminders but I just did not remember. Anyway, I called CS and they back dated everything to make sure I got my bonus. I am happy with it but having said all that, the idea of having to sign up every quarter is too much for me. I am going to get a cash back card that does not require quarterly sign ups.

I opened a Chase checking account. After about a year, I went to the branch to deposit a check and the manager said I was eligible to get the Freedom card. I got an approved for a CL of $2,500. After two years, I got an increase to $5,000 (double the original). So I am actually pretty happy with this card. I like the 5% quarterly thing though I do not like having to keep signing up for it. Why can't they just automatically enroll you?

My credit history is rather new - about 9 months. And I never thought of applying for this card. But when I opened my Chase checking account, the person behind the counter said that she could probably help the process if I had a decent amount in the account. I transferred $13k over and applied. Lo and behold, I got approved (though it was for a paltry $500 CL). I guess I cannot complain since I do not have a long history.

Have had this card for over a year. For the six months, I tried to be diligent in terms of using the card when there was a 5X category going on. But by the end of the year, I am quite tired of having to constantly "sign up" for the 5% offers quarterly. I do get the email reminders, it I have stopped signing up for them and am just using my Amex instead.

Applied for this card and got approved with a 20.99% interest rate and a $2,500 CL. Score was in the mid 600s I think. It has been 2 years and what I have been doing is charge about $500 a month on the card and PIF. My scores are now in the low 700s for all 3 bureaus and I will be calling Chase soon to ask for an increase in CL.

I got this card and was told I had to wait 7 to 10 business days. I finally got it in the mail. As a background, my score was about 715, about 3 other cards and a student loan. Have never been late on any payment. Hope this info helps those who are in a similar situation.
