I am Cora Leroy, I live in the state of Georgia. I needed help with my credit score. I had nowhere to turn to. My current credit score was 496 I wanted it a little higher and probably my old accounts deleted although most of them I had no idea why they were there because I never opened accounts with credit card. I went on internet to search for help and I found DPROTOCOL the credit expertise and I contacted (DPROTOCOL7@GMAIL.COM, +1 320 245 4036) him. We got started with the process with some few questions and a little display of competency as a proof of legitimacy. The good news is that he did all he said he will do (deleted the accounts, erased all the inquiries and eventually raised my score to a 785. Contact him if you need your credit fixed.

In the process of fixing my credit after messing things up pretty bad when I was younger. I have been a USAA member for a long time and hope the card helps me get a better credit rating like everyone else. I am paying down a lot of the mistakes I've made and am on my way to getting everything cleaned up.

I am a single mom and after going through a bankruptcy and divorce I was having a hard time getting back on my feet. Thankfully, everyone at USAA has been pretty helpful and I was given a chance to build some credit. I have not so far been able to qualify for much else but I imagine in a year or so things will be much better.

I went ahead and got this card with a bigger deposit that I had been saving. I like that the deposit is held in a CD so it's still earning something. The problem though is that I can't take it out and I don't want to close the card. I guess it doesn't hurt anything to let it sit there for a couple years and in the end I'll have better credit which is worth it.

I got this card a little while back after having some credit problems and soon after got a notice that I was approved for an unsecured card with Capital One. Now I'm just stuck because I don't need this card but I'm afraid if I close it I'll lose the history I've built with it. There aren't many benefits to this card except that you can use it and no one can tell it's a secured card because it looks like a regular credit card. So if you have credit problems it's a good card. Otherwise, once you don't need it it's kind of useless.

I love the customer service at USAA and I've been pretty happy with all of their products including this card. My husband and I have had some credit issues and have spent years rebuilding and we can qualify now for unsecured cards. I like this card though because it not only helps us built our credit, but we can't get into any trouble or we lose our security deposit. I guess you can say it keeps us on track. I do want to mention that this card is better than the American Express card if you travel a lot with the military. A friend of the family had one and ran into problems using it sometimes overseas.

I dont know what my credit score is right now but when i started trying to get credit it was around 500 partly because i didnt really have any credit also because i had an old phone bill I never paid. Anyway, I was even denied other secured cards and didn't even know that could happen. i was embarrassed at first to try with USAA even though I've had a bank account with them, but decided to give it a shot and am grateful they gave me a chance. I just wish I had tried sooner with USAA instead of wwasting time worrying about other ones.

Not much to say. I'm happy with the card and USAA. I enjoy watching my credit score inch up every few months. If you have bad credit this is the card you want. You do have to be a USAA member though.

My credit score went up within the first three months. Great card even without any extra benefits. Never had any problem with customer service at USAA. I am a long time member and finally at a point in my life where I want to clean up my finances and plan on using my credit wisely.

I have added to my credit limit but started out with the minimum. I like the card even though I can probably get an unsecured card now. I wish there were more benefits but at least I've been able to increase my credit score.

I am also in the process of rebuilding my credit. Around 2006 I got a divorce after finding out my ex had racked up a ton of debt on our credit cards. Like totally maxed out and also none of the bills were being paid. I even had some accounts in collections that I didn't know about. I started trying to fix my credit around 2008 and since I was a USAA member, I was able to get the secured card, even with my credit score in the 500s. Since then my credit score has increased into the mid 600s but I am still paying off a lot of stuff. The greatest benefit of this card is it helps you fix your credit especially when other cards won't take a chance and give you credit. I can now qualify for other cards without a security deposit but I am keeping this one to so my credit rating continues to increase and after everything is under control I plan on getting a rewards card. As I said, I am a USAA member so I have a lot of experience with their customer service, which has always been super helpful when I have needed them.

I don't have any credit and joined the military after high school. I have this card to help establish a credit rating which is hard to do when you don't have any credit cards or loans. I have had problems with long holds on deposits which is why my credit limit is so low. Plus I don't think there are many benefits for this card you don't earn anything extra when you use it and the limit is so low you can't really do much with it. I am going to stick with it for a while to see if it helps me get approved for better credit cards. You can't tell by looking at it that it's a secured card, by the way, in case you're wondering if people will know.

I love everything about this card because I've been through a huge mess when it comes to credit and finances. I had a bunch of bills that weren't paid and a bankruptcy and then I couldn't qualify for anything. Thank goodness for this card so I can get my stuff back in order and start clean. I think I am at an age where I have learned from my mistakes and plan on keeping my debt down even once I get my credit cleaned up.

Well I've been cleaning up my credit also and to tell the truth this card has helped. My only problem is the security deposit. If you want your security deposit back you have to close the card and then I've heard that can hurt your credit if you've built a history through the years. So I have to keep the card even if I get approved for unsecured cards which probably won't make sense to do.

I wasn't able to be approved for anything and I tried by applying for a bunch of cards which I've heard is not a good idea. Anyway I became a USAA member and opened a checking account and then I was able to get this card. In just a few months my credit score went up. Plus I like that the security deposit goes into a CD so I kind of have a savings account built up and I'm fixing my credit. I have made a couple deposits to get my limit up and then I use this card for everything. I also pay it off every month so I don't suffer from the high APR but I can't think of any better way to build a good credit rating.

I just filed bankruptcy so I really didn't think I'd be approved for anything for a long time. Luckily, I have this card for purchases that require a credit card and maybe my credit rating will increase a little faster. Feeling like I get a chance to start over and grateful to USAA for all of the help and for giving me the opportunity.

Just by chance I was approved for a Capital One card and I don't need this but my deposit is there and in a CD so I may as well keep the card now. I don't see any benefits to carrying this card and if I had known I could qualify for an unsecured card with actual benefits I wouldn't have gotten this one. Just a tip in case you think your credit is terrible, it may not be as bad as you think.

You have to pay $35 a year and if your credit is bad which is who this card is targeting, you are not going to get a low APR of 9%. Mine was 19% which is ridiculous. So I only deposited the minimum and plan on using the card once in a while and paying it off. Can't complain about the customer service because they've always been helpful with answering questions.

My credit was so bad I couldn't qualify for a secured card with my bank so I opened an account with USAA and was approved for the secured Mastercard. I just want to add that there is a 7 day hold on the deposit so make sure you don't need your money right away.

Rebuilding my credit after a divorce and stuff. I got this card rather than the American Express because if you travel a lot, your card may not be accepted in other countries.
