Card | Why We Like This Card? |
---|---|
![]() SDFCU EMV Secured |
This is one of the rare cards with no annual fee, comes with a reward program and does not perform any credit checks. The catch is you need to join the American Consumer Council for $15. The one thing we have noticed is that there are mixed reviews from consumers (over the internet) on your approval odds. |
![]() Primor Secured |
Primor does not perform an credit checks as long as your income is greater than your deposit by $100. Feedback from consumers is that customer service is good. If you do not want a hard pull on your CR, then this is a card to consider. |
![]() OpenSky Secured |
OpenSky also does not do any income or credit checks. If your credit is bad and you do not want any more hard pull on your credit report, then this is another card to consider. It also reports as unsecured in your CR. |
![]() Capital One Secured MasterCard |
This card is very well known in the rebuilding circle. Unlike other cards, this card is actually partially secured. A $49 deposit gets you a $200 credit line. It does report as unsecured and you have a chance to graduate to another one of Capital One's unsecured credit card. |

USAA is well known for it's great customer service and many military members have rebuilt or built up their credit with this card. It does pay interest and reports as unsecured. |
![]() Navy Federal nRewards Secured |
This is another great card for military members. There is no annual fee and you get paid interest on your deposit. It also reports as unsecured. |
