Great service, and the benefits are excellent since I fly mostly on Delta. I use this card almost exclusively (some companies don't accept AMEX). My only complaint is that you need to plan well in advance to use the companion certificates, as they seem to limit availability of seats for which the certs may be used.

Card basically pays for itself if you value Skylounge access with Delta. At present, annual fee for the card is about $100 less than annual fee for lounge access.

Score previously 825, now 720s after a nasty divorce. Great card, great limit, great benefits.

I spend $2500-$10,000 every month for business expense account. This was a great card to beef up my MQMs since I already have to put client entertainment on a card. Had a Delta Platinum Card for 6 mo. before I had to cancel at the request of my mortgage company when we were closing on our new home. Hated to lose that card, but happy Delta was offering another 70,000 miles as a sign on bonus with a different product.

Love AMEX. Way better customer service than my Chase cards. I usually get the card spend/yr so the extra MQM are worth it. Made it to Platinum status from flying and MQM last year, will at least keep Gold this year. Have lost cards they instantly cancel unrecognized transactions and sent a new card overnight. Definitely expensive but the lounge benefit and First Class companion certificate are enough to warrant the card.

I Fly Delta a great deal, I use the card strictly for business travel. It's a pretty good product!

Great card but only if you travel a lot and maximize the benefits, other wise your paying $450 a month for not a lot.

I travel over 150,000 miles each year and utilize all of the benefits the Delta reserve card provides. I think it is a great value at $450 per year if you utilize the benefits. Buy one ticket and get a ticket free. Sky lounge access etc..

Man people ask me whether if it is worth paying the annual fee for this card. I would say it depends on what you value. For example, an annual SkyClub membership will set you back the equivalent of your $450 annual fee. So essentially, if you fly a lot with Delta and use their lounge, then the annual fee essentially pays for the SkyClub membership. You can also bump your status just from credit card spending. $60,000 equals 30,000 MQMs. Since you only need 25,000 MQMs for Silver status, you technically get that without flying. Obviously, most cardholders will be frequent flyers and will be looking for the MQMs to make to bump to at least Platinum status.

I was very good credit scores and was rather surprised to see that I got a very low limit of $2,500. I have had $20k limits on some of my other Visa cards! As a business traveler, I think it is very important to have a decent limit for such a card (at least one that charges $450 annual fee).

This is my second Amex card - also have the Costco. I think I have got a decent credit line here. At least, it is enough for me to hit the $60k spend for all the MQMs. This is now my main card for everything that I charge.

I fly about 15 to 18 times a year with Delta (both personal and business) and applied for this card to boost my Qualifying Miles and bump up my elite status. My approval was "instant". My only wish is that I have a large CL because to hit the $60k spend, you have to spend $5 a month. For, I would technically be maxing out although I pay in full.

Got my card after I became an elite Delta (just through flying on company business). Have a very nice limit which I'm happy about. The MQMs from card spend gives me a buffer on "low flying" years.

I was toying between the gold, plat or reserve but finally settled for the reserve because I love the lounge benefits. I am not very happy with the credit line I was given because my other Chase cards give me much higher limits. But I do not spend enough (as in reach the 60k) threshold for the maximum MQMs, so at this moment, it is not such a big deal.

I do not understand how I got a $2.5k CL with my score (TU 745). This is supposed to be an elite card with their annual fee and you would expect to get a generous credit line. To say that I am disappointed is an understatement. How am I supposed to reach the 60k spend to get all the MQMs?

Had a couple of Visa and MasterCard from other issuers. This was my first real high profile card but it came about because a new job required travel and I always seemed to be flying with Delta. What I like about the card is that MQMs have really helped my elite status (giving me a boost when I need them). Very happy with CSR and the annual fee is worth it. Application and approval was easy (for me at least).

I was quite surprised about the limit I got given my very good score. On my other visa cards, I have 20k limits! The CL is enough for most purposes (like booking domestic air tickets and meeting the spending requirements for qualifying miles). But there are times where I wish I had a higher limit because I want to book a business class ticket (which cost more than my limit).

Don't have the best of credit scores when I got this card. Got hit a few years ago. But there are no bad reports in my CR and I have a good job. The reason I applied for this card is because I fly Delta for business. Decided to go for the reserve because of the Qualifying Miles. I'm not too happy with the limits but I guess I cannot complain.

Applied online on Amex site and got instantly approved. Card took about a week to arrive. The application was easy, but using the companion ticket is not. Maybe it is just me, but I can't seem to get the companion ticket cert going for the places that I actually wanted to go.
