I absolutely love the 3-2-1 formula which is simple compared to rotating categories cards. I only wished I had more money in my BOA checking account so I could earn more cash back!

Have a BOA checking account and took advantage of their offer with some sign up bonus. Like the 3-2-1 formula. But I also noticed that my credit limit does not report to the credit bureaus and I suspect it is because I got the Visa Signature version of the card. Am speaking to my branch officer to see if there is a way around this.

Prior to getting this card, I have the Chase Freedom and the Blue Cash Everyday. While the 3-2-1 benefits are great and certainly more convenient than my Chase Freedom (where you have to sign up every 3 months for the 5% rotating categories), there is a quarterly cap of $1500 spending on the 3-2-1 items. I already spend more than $1500 gasoline and groceries combined in a month. So I find the Blue Cash better.
It may work for some folks but not for me. I give this a 3 star for the $1500 cap.

I used to have the FIA 2% cash back card. It was discontinued and converted to this card. IMO - 2% beats 3-2-1 any day (especially with the $1500 cap). I am now using the Amex BCE as my main card now.

I got this card because I kept getting offers in the mail and every time I logged into my BOA account. I do not have enough in my checking account to max out on the preferred banking bonus. But 3% on gas, 2% on groceries are great features to have. I will still nevertheless keep my 1.5% Cap One to use along side this card.
