Executive Summary - The Citi Bonus Cash Center is another way for cardholders to earn extra cash back. Formerly called the Citi Dividend Merchant Network, it is an online shopping portal with a network of merchant partners. In this part of the review, we'll examine how it works.

Citi was one of the first issuer (perhaps the first) to have an online shopping portal. It used to be called the Citi Dividend Merchant Network and is now called the Citi Bonus Cash Center.

The portal has partnerships with hundreds of merchants. When you use your card to shop with through the portal, you will earn extra points. Let's use an example. Assume that GAP online store is a partner. Rather than going into your web browser and going to the GAP website, you would go to Citi Bonus cash center and login into your account. You will then search for GAP and click on the link that will take you to GAP's online store. Going going to the online store through the portal (rather than directly), your purchases will be tracked for reward earning purposes.

Not only does the Bonus Cash Center have online store partnerships, they also have partnership with some offline stores and even catalog orders. If you shop online or through catalogs, you can save a lot of money this way.

In a recent study that we conducted, we found out that the Citi Bonus Cash Center has the most merchant partners among its' competitors.

Another thing to take note of is that any Dividend Dollars that you make from purchases here is not subject to the three hundred dollars annual cap.

Below are screen shots of some of their partners.

Now that we have looked at their cash rewards system, let's now look at some of the other card benefits.
