It&#8217;s not the crazy 100k or 50k that some cards are offering. But being one of the best travel cards out there, it is still a pretty good deal. It also applies to their <a href=\"\/\/www.askmrcreditcard.com\/american-express\/starwood-preferred-guest-business\/\">business version<\/a>. Great opportunity to get 60k to you get both.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/\/www.askmrcreditcard.com\/american-express\/blue-sky\/travel-insurance\/\">Travel Insurance of the Blue Sky from American Express&#038;#174<\/a><br \/>\nWe often take features like travel accident insurance or extended warranty for granted these days because all the major networks offer these. But there are some fine prints and what I found out in this Amex card came as a slight shock because you actually have to enroll and pay for the feature.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/\/www.askmrcreditcard.com\/discover\/miles\/double-miles-merchant-partners\/\">You can Earn Double &#8220;Points&#8221; On the Miles by Discover&#038;#174 Card with their Online Merchants<\/a><br \/>\nI managed to find the site on Discover that lists out all the merchant partners for this card. Turns out that it is the same ones for all their cards. It&#8217;s just that with this card, you get to earn double miles compare to 5% rebates on the More card.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/\/www.askmrcreditcard.com\/barclays\/carnival-cruise\/discover-5-discount\/\">5% Rebates or Discounts On Carnival Cruise with Discover&#038;#174 More Card<\/a><br \/>\nIt turns out that Discover is great for booking cruises (including Carnival Cruise) because you actually get 5% rebates when you book through them (I look at them more like discounts).<\/li>\n<p><strong>From Around The Web<\/strong><\/p>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/boardingarea.com\/blogs\/deltapoints\/2012\/08\/08\/100000k-klm-business-class-they-are-always-work\/\" target=\"new\">100,000 Delta Skymiles for flight to Sweden on Business Class<\/a><br \/>\nIt&#8217;s always great hearing stories of how to get business class seats to Europe. If you are a skymiles member, it is worth a read.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/hackmytrip.com\/2012\/08\/hacking-a-great-car-rental-rate\/\" target=\"new\">Hacking a Great Car Rental Rate<\/a><br \/>\nOne of the most detailed post I&#8217;ve come across with regards to getting the best bang for the buck when it comes to car rentals.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/ficoforums.myfico.com\/t5\/Credit-Cards\/AmEx-Signup-Bonuses-Reduced-Eliminated\/td-p\/1526316\" target=\"new\">Different Amex sign up bonuses when you are &#8220;logged in&#8221;<\/a><br \/>\nThere is an interesting discussion over at myFICO about members seeing different sign up bonuses depending on whether they are logged in or not. Some are wondering if existing members can still get publicly available sign up bonuses. The answer is yes (because I have had that experience). All you have to do is to make sure you are not logged in.
