You can only apply for the Verve Mastercard if you have received a mail offer with a code.

If you have not, here are some better cards to get.

The average Verve cardholder has a FICO score of 600 and above. And the lowest annual fee you will get on Verve is $125 for their $750 and $1,000 credit limit versions. If you have a 600 FICO score, I suggest getting the Upgrade Select Card, which only has a $39 annual fee and a credit limit ranging from $500 - $2,500.

If your FICO score is below 600, the best unsecured credit card to get is the Arro Mastercard. The monthly fee for the first year is only $1/month. And it is only $3/month from the second year onwards. Credit limit starts from $50-$200, but quickly rises as long as you complete financial literacy courses from their app. Credit Limits go as high as $2,500. There is no hard inquiry and all you need is to have a minimum income of $1,800 and link your bank account to Arro.
