Default Reward Card Ideas

I am looking for a credit card with a reward program. i do not want to pay any annual fees and am not interested in things like airline tickets. I am more interested in using points for items like a digital camera or ipod and other goodie stuff. Which card is the best for this?

I have the Blue card from amex. They seem to have a lot of items which you can exchange points for. I pay no annual fee.

I used to use the Citi Diamond. But the reward program (thank you - I believe) raised the point requirements. For eg, I now need 6,000 points to get a $50 gift card. So I do not use it anymore. But just comparing the catalog, it appears that the Blue is better.

Best to get opinions from people who use other cards other than citi and amex.

agreed on the thankyou network program. If merchandise rewards are what you are after, then the membership rewards looks a better bet than the thankyou from citi (which I use).

Having said that, I find it amusng the recent post by mr credit card on the blog about how the thankyou network was the only program which had the latest ipod 80gb model!! here is the link

Which credit card reward program has the latest apple 80gb ipod.

why don't you try the Discover Card?

you technically earn cash rebates. But you can redeem them for gift certificates (they now have 70 partners according to website). That is how I use the card and I find the customer service very good.
