Default Best card for a not-so-big spender?

I've tried calculators, but they generally do not include the majority of things I buy. Here is a breakdown of my spending per month:

$1000 - car payment (can do in person or through online bill pay)
$150 - restaurants
$300 - retail stores
$30 - coffee shops
$20 - grocery stores

I don't purchase gas or groceries or other EDP so what I'm mostly looking for is a way to get something back from my car payments. Is there such a thing? I have no preference between cash back and rewards cards.

a cash back credit card like Chase Freedom should do the trick.
