gas cards

What are the benefits of these credit cards? Can they only be used for gas purchases? Do you get discounts at the pump for using them?

My husband has a gas card that has some perks but he rarely uses it so I have forgotten what they are. LOL.

The only convenience that I saw with the Mobil card, was that they give you an elecronic key and you could just "wave" it and that would be in your account. The others.. I don´t know!

I don't really know what you mean by wave it - do you mean just hold it up to the pump and it picks it up?

You can get a strictly gas, gas card, where purchases are made solely for gas, and I think the convenience store.

And then a gas credit card, that you can use anywhere.

Both accrue points/gas miles.

Well they are very convenient when using in gas stations as well as nearby groceries.... you could also earn rebates when using your card for a minimum amount.
