Default Bp rewards

I allowed my rewards to build up for Christmas ($2700).I requested my rebate in Oct, and was told I would recieve it by the 12th (Nov.) On Nov. 18 they closed my account and cancelled the rebate. I recieved a rebate check for $25 dated Nov. 25.
This account was always paid in full.
Has anyone had this happen?
Whats the best recourse?
The rebate was for diesel fuel purchased at retail.
They had previously sent a rebate of almost $1400 last Feb.

Lisa,
They said my high amount of usage conflicted with their intent of the Bp cardmember agreement.
I will be pressing them on this issue.
First, I have to locate my old cardmember agreement.
