Default Getting back on track

Does anyone else feel like they're in a never ending vicious cycle? I've been trying to clean up my credit, but sometimes I'm not sure if I shouldn't just resign myself to having bad credit and wash my hands of credit cards all together. I usually try to just use my card for regular purchases that I can pay off easily, but it seems like I almost always lose my self control and end up doing spending I really shouldn't. Does anyone else have this problem?

While I think I do have a good credit, my problem is that I owe too much money already. I am paying it off and trying not to get into any more debt than necessary. But it is very hard! But I must say I am proud that at least I'm not getting any deeper into debt.

I have excellent self-control..... My wife, however, does not, which has always been our biggest financial problem. And to top it off, she's an accountant.

I've been stuck in the "never-ending vicious cycle" for years.

I can understand your dilemma. The credit card companies are very good at creating the perfect environment for your situation to flourish in.

Sometimes you have to look for rewards outside of what the cc company promises you for spending money and paying it back with fees attached.

And what about when you get so broke that you decide to go ahead and accept another one of those credit card offers just to get ahead?

Yes! Been there!

If you don't have strong enough motivator to be debt free, then this will always be a problem.

Try changing your focus. When you feel tempted, think of all the emotional resons you want to get rid of that credit card debt and raise your score. Maybe that will help?
