hi my friend recently aquired a credit card the limit was 500.00.however when she recieved statement she had overspent by 20.00surley the card should have been declined if she didnt have enough money on it .thanks

I haven't been declined when over spending from the card limit they only charged me with higher interest rates than the usual purchases.

Mostly, you won't be declined.. They will give you with the time period, within which you need to pay the amount.
