This is true! They really need to be more informed. They are going to be hating life in the long run.

yea i mean students can get cards easily whilst the rest of us who work and such like have trouble getting one a student has them thrown at them i find this very unfair and it annoys me

But those of us who work have probably already had credit cards and damaged our credit.

As has already been stated here, the whole purpose is tho give these students the false sense that they are empowered by giving them these cards so they can go buy the expensive toys, and then spend the next 20 or 30 years paying back the interest on the purchases.

At the end of the day the companies are just trying to make money, thats what they do, pray on people.

Its vital that students get proper money mangement education, early on, so they know how to deal with money as they are growing up.

As you said, they are already going to be paying of the student loan for years to come, the last thing they need is more debt!
