Default discover more - denied

i was denied a discover more with a 718 score on experian. any tips on how to get approved?

should i decrease my % credit to credit line for it? right now its at about 60%.

To be honest, 60% looks a little high in today's environment. 30% should do you a lot of good.

i understand. the only reason its 60% is not because i cant pay or dont pay. my total max credit on all accounts together is less than 10k, and i just use them all really well in order to get max rewards back. i actually pay full balance every month.

also my credit history is 1 year and 10 months old only. thats the reason best buy gave me for disapproving me. they said its too new to approve u.

apparently me making full balance payments all the time, is not appreciated enough since ive done it only for a year and 10 months.

Looks like you just have to be patient and let your credit history develop. Unfortunately, time cannot be manipulated!
