Default Chase Freedom

We are now offering this card on the site.

This card is the replacement of the Chase Cash Plus. It pays 3% cash rebates on supermarket, gasoline and quick service restaurant purchases and 1% on regular purchases. There is one little restriction on this card, which is you can only earn 3% rebates for the "3% items" for for the first $600 you spend monthly on those items. Otherwise, I think this card is better than the Citi Dividend Platinum Select Card.

Is it better than the Blue Cash? Depends on how much you spend. If you spend only around $10,000 to $12,000 or so, then the Chase Freedom would probably be the better card because it has no tiers.

The full review of this card can be read here :

So the limit is 600 dollars for a month on the 3% how does that measure up against a fee.

If there is a fee to be paid, I rather not even bother with a card. I keep the no fee cards, and it is practically the same what I would save with their programs
