Default Advanta Business Cards with 0% APR for balance transfers

Hi There,
I looked on the Advanta Bank credit card that you picked as best for balance transfers, but it is a business card, as you mentioned, and will use my name and social security, but it also states that "ABC cannot transfer balances from non-business accounts", so is there another card that will accept non-business acct transfers that you would recommend?

Thanks

1. Call advanta and tell them about your situation. They should be able to clarify.

2. If not, citi home rebate platinum select card is probably the only card with 12 month BT 0% offer with no BT fees today.

Default What was the outcome?

Idil,

Did you call and did they allow you to transfer a balance from a non-business CC?

Thanks in advance.

Angry Advanta is the worst

Please I warn you not to apply for an advanta business card. As verified by them I have never been late, never went over my limit. after a few months they said I may look like a credit risk and changed my rate from 7.9 to 35%, yet they will not tell me why, just that I may be a risk to them, they never called to verify if I was to pay them a certain way or so much a month so as not to fall into this category, even though I have the money to pay them all off. I was only building what I thought was a stronger credit. They are prey on the small business owner to lure them in and then stick to them. How do they sleep at night.

Advanta claims to be a small business credit card, yet they pull your personal credit record and FICO to determine if you need a card. They don't even check to see if really have a business or not. In their agreements it states that your not to use this so called business credit card for personal transfers, purchases, etc., but I know on mine and dozens of others, personal use was done for years, so they would probably take a transfer to pay a personal card, because that is what they truly are, even though they hide under the umbrella they are not.

However, consider this. If you carry a balance of any size, they now have a clause in their agreement that says they can raise your rate or change anything in your agreement any time they want to for any reason. There are zero guarantees,
