Default Is this illegal?

I recently called and asked to have Bank Of America send my wife a new credit card since she lost hers. I had a 45K credit line and they ended up closing my account and requesting i pay the balance due right away. Not only that, They took away my flight miles and refuse to give them to me. I was never late on my payment to them and they even acknowledge that I was in good standing with them but that when I called to order another card they pulled my credit. I had a few late pays on my mortgage so they said that gave them the right to close my account and take away my points. I filled a claim with the Arizona Attorney General but I haven't heard anything back from them. Does anyone know if it is illegal to not just close my account eventhough I wasn't late but to be able to take away my flight miles? Thanks

Check your card service agreement. In otherwords, the fine print...

I hate to tell you that it's probably compltetely legal. Obviously that does not make it RIGHT.

I would definitely follow up with the attorney general. I am really sorry to hear that happened to you.
