If the majority of your online purchase is with amazon and your cell phone company, then I would go with the amazon card. The new Chase Freedom is modeling after the Discover Card models where they allow you to earn anywhere from 5% to 20% (in discover's case) if you shop online but go through your discover account. So for example, instead of going directly to landsend.com, you log in to your discover account and go to landsend.com (same site). But discover has an arrangement with them and so you get that extra cash back.
If you are thinking about Chase Freedom, Discover is the better card IMO. But looks like amazon is the one for you...
