Regarding the perks for Amex Platinum:

1. How do you know that you get better concierge service? Have you compared Amex with other concierge services? (A project for Mr. Credit Card, please....how about a post "The Truth of Concierge Services")

2. Same with booking restaurants. Is there any *evidence* to show that this is the case, that when booking with Platinum, a table suddenly becomes available, where without Platinum it wasn't?

3. OK, maybe

4. Agreed on the awards program.

5. Starwood... Not yet tested, but am looking forward to it.

6. Prestige... ehh...fine if you're sense of self-worth is boosted by impressing a bunch of check-out clerks, and cashiers swiping your card.
