I have had nothing but problems with the Bank of America USAIR credit card in terms of payment processing. I was hesitant to cancel it because I fly USAIR and had the account for several years but apparently this is a problem also. I received a statement billing me for the annual fee and contacted the 1800 customer service number to cancel the card. They told me no problem but about a month later I received a new statement again asking me for the annual fee and assessing a late fee. I called the 1800 number again and was told the card could only be canceled in writing. I strongly encourage anyone to use the AA citibank card instead as they have always had top notch customer service.
