The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act only applies to collection agencies. You might want to read the act before telling people to quote it. I've run collection agencies for many years now.

My mortage payment is due on the 16th of the month. My wife is paid once a month on the last day of the month. The mortage is paid from her pay check on the last day of the month within the 15 day grace period set forth by the bank. I am not behind on this mortage. Bank calls my wife at her place of employment 10 days after due date to request payment although they have been asked on numerous occasions not to call her at work. What can be done to stop them from calling her at work.
Thanks,
Dennis
