Citi is just squeezing those with TY point balances, hoping to thrust overpriced merchandise into our hands instead of decent retailer GCs like Target, Sears, etc.</description>

		<description>I&#039;m a ThankYou rewards member and I have to admit I haven&#039;t been pleased with the card&#039;s rewards as time passes.  Back when I signed up a few years ago I used to be able to spend 10,000 points for a $100 best buy gift card.   Now I have to spend 6,000 points for $50.  Granted this may be due to retailers making the decisions, I&#039;m not sure...but it just seems like it&#039;s getting harder to get a good match on your points these days.</description>
