		<description>I wish you had a real life situation with the calculated end cost with finance charges and interest. For example, a teen buys a $50 pair of jeans on sale for $35 on credit card. If he/she pays just the 3-4% minimum, what would the end cost be with sample interest and finance changes!!! That brings home the message...those sale jeans weren&#039;t on sale after all!!!</description>

The problem I have with talking about money to my kids is (I think) related to the fact that my parents rarely discussed money in front of us, and if they did it was only as part of a crisis.  I therefore associate money and talking about it with stress and conflict.  

I know I need to get over this for the sake of my children though.  Your example is an inspiration!
