Round Up for the Last 2 Weeks

by Mr Credit Card

OK - here is a round up of post and carnivals that I was involved in during the last 2 weeks.

The Sun’s Financial Diary hosted the 91st Carnival of Personal Finance. The one article that I got a kick out of reading was from Blue Print for Financial Prosperity on his experiences with meeting with a financial planner. That FP it seems, turned out to be not very good. It was an interesting post with great comments.

This week, Lazy Man and Money hosted the 92nd Carnival of Personal Finance. The post that caught my eye was a post by Stuff You Ought to Know on Hoarding Airline Miles. This post really resonated with me because I review credit cards. Check this out if you are a reward credit card kind of person.

Debt Hater hosted the 78th Carnival of Debt Reduction. I actually enjoyed this carnival as there were a few good articles. You should head over there if you have not to check it out.

I was also involved in the 6th Carnival of Credit Card hosted by Credit Card Lowdown. As usual, this carnival has some very good credit card post. I am highlighting any one in particular, but you should check it out.

The Frugal Duchess hosted the 66th Festival of Frugality. The post that I really enjoyed was from Silicon Valley Blogger titled Help! Could I have a lady bag syndrome?. Some of you may just be uncomfortable reading this!

Smart Money Life hosted the Festival of Under 30s Finances and Money. The post I really liked was by Nina from Queercents about Safeguarding Finances before breakup. In fact, Queercents has a whole series on “sleeping with money” that you might want to check out.

Lastly, I was the host of the 79th Carnival of Personal Finance. If you have not read it, what are you waiting for?
