Pnc points used to be good when it was National City. I used to get 2 points for every dollar. Ever since PNC took over, it has gone downhill. They changed it to 1 point for every dollar spent and now I just found out, you only get 1/2 point for every dollar spent. This is ridiculous and I and seriously considering taking my business elsewhere.

PNC points is a total waste. The customer service is awful and rude. And clearly outsourced.
I ordered a gift card, was notified that it was shipped. It never came. Still hasn’t. When I call to check on the status or get the tracking number, they tell me “shipped” doesn’t mean shipped actually. It means the order was initiated and has 4-6 weeks to be completed. Well I’m sorry but shipped and initiated are not the same. I should then be able to cancel my order, but they would not let me. Wouldn’t even let me speak to a manager. They are AWFUL, TERRIBLE, and clearly very ignorant to have a HUGE website glitch such as this and not be able to fix it.

PNC POINTS has been a total disappointment to me and, in my opinion, borders on being a scam. Here's my personal experience: Day 0 - ordered 5 gift cards from the site. Day 7 - rec'd e-mail the cards were shipped via USPS. Day 17 - no cards, called for update. Was told the order was in process and the shipped status was that they were ordered from the vendor, expect 4-6 wks for delivery. Day 60 - Received e-mail that the order was non-deliverable and points were put back in my account. Called for explanation - cards no longer available. Website was not manned 24x7 so orders are allowed to be taken for items no longer offered. First of all, who 'mans' their website? Secondly, was it manned only once every 6 weeks? I guess someone mans their online banking website and physically types in each account transaction? Come on now - who are they trying to fool? Every call to their so-called customer service center yielded no answers, just rude, arrogant folks. hey PNC - shape up. This is nonsense.
