I love these types of lists! I have:

-a Bank of America student Visa card that was recently converted to a non-student card (but with the same awful interest rate and no rewards!). Only use it for gym membership and keep it open because it's longest line of credit
-a Bank of America Rewards MasterCard so I can reap the benefits of some of my spending
-a Capitol One Visa (this is only for traveling abroad -- I'm like you, I love it for that reason!)
-I had a Victoria's Secret card but canceled it recently after having it for a year and never using it once

I recently applied for a Chase Continental MasterCard for business since my accountant recommended I do so for my freelance writing business. It was supposed to be instantly approved, but I got the message that they would need more time to decide. I think this is because my credit history is short.

However, despite all these credit cards, I use my debit card for most day-to-day use -- I use the cards to build credit and get rewards (and when abroad), but I don't like to rely on them too much.

It's interesting to see how others are using credit. Personally I stopped using credit cards about 7 years ago, but my partner uses his in the same manner you do, especially with the rewards for gas. Due to business travel and family commitments we were spending about $1200 a month just on gas when it was at $4 a gallon. It was quite painful even with the rewards, but it helped his credit score by paying the card off each month, so at least there was something good to come out of it.
