If you pass the credit check the first time, you will be approved immediately. However, if you do not, then it might take 10 days for issuer to get back to you. Concerned with the message, I decided to give them a call. The rep who took my call was very courteous, and asked me some follow-up questions regarding my application. Within a minute, he was able to approve/process my applications, tell me my credit limit, and inform me that the card would arrive within a week. Sure enough, the card arrived several days later. I appreciate the great service. Even though it wasn't as seamless as "60 seconds", I did appreciate the fact that customer service was able to expedite the approval process.
