I recently requested to have all three of my credit reports mailed and found two areas which had me alarmed. The first, pertaining to question #1, The report shows the following:
Chevron:(XPN)Date Open| Balance Date |AccountStatus |PriorDealing
              12-05       04-08      Paid account/     09-07
                                     90dys past
//revolving; closed account; paid

Chevron:(EFX)Date Open| Balance Date |AccountStatus |PriorDealing
              12-05       09-09       pays accnt as    03-07
                                      agreed.
//revolving; closed account;paid

Chevron:(TU) Date Open| Balance Date |AccountStatus |
              12-05       09-09       paid or
                                      paying as
                                      agreed.

All of the accounts are on $0 past due. I'm positive I was working on payment agreements with the organization. And they did tell me it would not be reported to the credit agency. I obviously have to dispute that, I plan to get a copy of my bank statements showing payments made. My largest area of concern are the dates. Why is it showing "BALANCE DATE" on (TU) & (EFX) when I never handled this matter in 2009 and I don't even think 2008 either, I believe it was handled between 2005 - 2006. Further more are any of these eligible as "duplicate disputes"? Thanks.

I am in the same boat as your inquirery , I have had some items deleted from one source only to be confirmed by another . I thought that if one co. could not confirm a valid debt then the others must also delete

Sometimes it quite a bit complicate because we have to give them all necessary information and we might forget it. So you should keep your bill every month to compare with credit report.

We should request credit report and check all the record listed on. If we have a confident, law allow us to challenge it to credit bureaus. They will remove the record if it wrong as we state.
