Basically, each time you earn $50 in rewards, you can redeem it for $50. If you save your rewards up to $200, it's redeemable for $250. When I signed up, they had a special promotion that gave me $200 in rewards after making one purchase, which can be redeemed for $250! Not bad for signing up! It's really a great card for anyone that's interested. This is definitely my favorite credit card since I got it back in April.
