A card suited for people who travel a lot on Carnival Cruise as you can redeem points for state rooms and other cruise products. There are also other cards that allow you to get discounts on Carnival Cruise and we'll explore that at the end of the review.

The Carnival Cruise Credit Card (officially called Carnival World MasterCard) is a card that is targeted at folks that is always taking Carnival Cruise for their vacations. Below are the details on this card.
Reward Details - The points for Carnival Cruises' reward program is called FunPoints. Card members will be able to earn double FunPoints for every dollar that they spend at Carnival Cruises and one point for every dollar spent on everything else. As an incentive, the card is giving 5,000 bonus points after the first purchase and also an extra 5,000 points if you transfer a balance!
Reward Redemption - Carnival Cruise FunPoints can be redeemed for cruise discounts and onboard gifts. You can also use the points for discounts at other cruise lines like Princess Cruises, Holland Line America, Costa Cruise, Cunard Line, Yachts of Seabourn.
Verdict and Opinion - The Carnival Cruise Line Credit Card will appeal to folks who go on Carnival Cruises frequently as you can use reward points for their cruise, onboard gifts and even other cruises. Hence, you are such a person, you should consider this card.
Alternative - But before you apply for this card, you should also know that the Discover Card also has partnerships with Carnival Cruise and all major cruise companies through their shopping portal shopdiscover.com. If you use your Discover Card and purchase tickets for Carnival at their site when you log into your Discover account, you will get a 5% cash rebate. You can also get 5% when you tickets on their other cruise partners. Below is a screen shot of their cruise partners.

Discover also allows you to exchange your cash rebates that you have earned for gift cards. And for cruise gift card partners, you can double the value of you cash rebates if you exchange for them (see chart below).
When all is said and done, the Discover More Card is a really good alternative to the Carnival Cruise credit card.
