Reward Formula - The Chase Continental Airlines Business Mastercard allows the cardholder to earn double miles for every dollar you spend on Continental Airlines tickets purchased directly through a Continental ticketing facility, on continental.com or through Continental reservations. You earn one mile for every dollar you spend on other purchases. Miles can be redeemed for travel rewards on Continental Airlines and many of Continental's partner airlines including Northwest Airlines® and Delta Air Lines. New cardholders get 15,000 bonus miles after their first purchase on the card.
5% Discount of Continental Tickets for First Year - You also get a 5% discount for one year on all published Continental Airlines fares purchased on continental.com. To receive the 5% discount, you have to provide Offer Code "ONEPASS" when beginning your flight search at continental.com. This offer is valid on tickets booked and purchased exclusively at continental.com on any published fare on flights operated by either Continental Airlines, Inc., Continental Micronesia, ExpressJet Airlines, Inc. d/b/a Continental Express or Continental Connection. It is not valid on itineraries that include code-share flights, Continental Airlines Vacations or continental.com Specials purchases.
Automatic Enrollment in OnePass Dining Program - As a Continental OnePass member, you can earn extra miles at over 10,000 participating restaurants. Fees - The Chase Continental Airlines Mastercard has an annual fee of $75.00. Additional card for employees is $20.00. Verdict - The business owner who flies frequently with Continental Airlines may want to consider the Chase Continental Airlines Business Mastercard. It has every thing you want in an airline credit card : ability to earn double miles, generous bonus miles and even a 5% discount for airline tickets for one year (which no other card offers).
Update : Chase no longer appears to be promoting this card. This card cannot be found on their site and though it can be found on OnePass site, there does not seem to be an "apply" button! Chase is drastically cutting back on credit approvals due to anticipated increased in their delinquency rates in their credit card portfolio because of the credit crisis. It is now very difficult to get a Chase credit card. If you would like to get a card that can earn OnePass miles, we suggest you look at the American Express Preferred Rewards Gold Card. You can earn membership reward points and transfer them to your Continental OnePass account at a one for one ratio.
