American Express Jet Blue Credit Card Review
Review of Jet Blue Card from American Express
Summary - Jet Blue has two cards issued by American Express (a consumer version and a business version) for the JetBlue frequent flyer. It allows the True Blue Frequent Flyer to earn more points for their True Blue account. It has also one of the lowest and most reasonable annual fees around.
Both cards are essentially the same except for some differences which I'll explain below.
Jet Blue Miles Explanation - The Jet Blue frequent flyer program miles is a little different from other programs. Here is how this works with the Jet Blue Card. You will earn Award Dollars with the Jet Blue Card. 200 Award dollars equals to 1 TrueBlue point. You need 100 TrueBlue points to get one award flight. This means you need to accumulate 20,000 Award Dollars to get a free flight.
The Jet Blue Card from American Express allows you to earn Award Dollars on Jet Blue ticket purchase, gasoline, phone charges and obviously for other regular purchases as well.
Conclusions - The JetBlue Card from American Express is a very good airline credit card as it has a very reasonable annual fee compared to other airline cards. This card is best suited to frequent flyers of Jet Blue Airways.
The Jet Blue Business Card from American Express OPEN is sliightly better than the consumer version. This is because as part of American Express OPEN, the business version allows you to get anywhere from 5% to 35% discounts from merchant partners of the American Express OPEN network.
